LTC Rehab Director Salaries Increased 4.22% in 2022

October 2022--The recently published HCS Rehabilitation Salary & Benefits Report shows Director of Rehabilitation salaries increased 4.22% in the long-term care sector; 3.52% in home health agencies and 0.91% in hospitals in 2022.

In hourly data, Physical Therapist (PT) rates increased 3.33% in the long-term care sector; 2.32% in home health agencies; and 1.59% in hospitals in 2022. Data reflects rates effective June 2022.

Rates reflect the national 50th percentile as of June 2022.

In long-term care facilities, the lowest hourly rate for Physical Therapists was in North Dakota, where the 50th percentile was $38.20. The highest long-term care hourly rate was in California, at $50.00/hour. In hospitals, the lowest hourly rate of $40.20 was in Kentucky and the highest was reported in California, at $57.54/hour. The lowest reported rate for home health agencies was in Wisconsin at $38.75/hour.

2,753 total facilities participated in the study, including 1,785 long-term care facilities, 376 hospitals, and 592 home health agencies.  The Report covers 19 therapy jobs, salaries, bonuses, hourly and per diem rates.
