Study Shows 2.73% Planned Salary Increase for Home Health Corporate Execs in 2019
February 2019-- The 2018-2019 Multi-Facility Corporate Compensation Report, just published by Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS), reported an average planned salary increase of 2.73% in 2019 for home health corporate positions. The results include larger revenue home health/hospice agencies, as well as multi-site organization executives. The revenue size of participants ranged from $20 million - $2 billion.

In a national comparison by revenue size, CHRO total compensation pay ranged from $119,641 in those with revenue less than $30 million; $126,831 in revenue size of $30 million - $ 100 million; and $275,106 for those with revenue greater than $100 million. Data reported reflect the national total compensation average.
100% of home health systems offered 401(k)/403(b) plans. Participants reported an average match of 2.96% of salary, with an average maximum contribution of 4.57%. The average eligibility period increased from 4.54 months in 2017 to 4.57 months in 2018.
