Top Level HR Exec. Salaries Increase in 2009
Oakland, NJ, August 21 -- The national average salary of Top Level HR/Personnel Management executives increased 3.95% from 2008 to 2009, according to the 2009-2010 Hospital Salary & Benefits Report, just released by Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS). This figure is a comparison of hospitals across the nation that reported data for both the 2008 and 2009 Reports.

| 2009-2010 Hospital Salary & Benefits Report |
The planned percent increase for management positions slightly declined for the period 6/1/2009 to 5/31/2010 to 2.96%, compared with last year’s planned increase of 3.62%. The actual percent increase reported for the period 6/1/2008 to 5/31/2009 was 3.29% for management positions.
390 hospitals participated in the study and provided compensation data on more than 164,600 employees nationwide. The Report covers 153 hospital positions including management, nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, radiology and technical positions. Data are reported according to revenue size, bed-size, geographic region, state and city. Also covered are 14 fringe benefits, turnover rates by department, and projected salary increases for 2009 to 2010. Data are effective as of May 2009.
