Oakland, NJ, November 2010--Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in Home Health received the highest hourly pay compared to Hospital and Long Term Care PTAs, according to the 4th annual Rehabilitation Salary & Benefits Report, just published by Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS).  The national average hourly rate for Home Health PTAs was $28.27, compared to $28.12 for Long Term Care PTA’s and $23.18 for Hospital PTAs.

2,075 long term care facilities, 377 hospitals, and 626 home care agencies participated in the study.  The 2010-2011 Report covers 16 therapy jobs, salaries, bonuses, hourly and per diem rates.  Fringe benefits data also is included, as are planned and actual percent increases.  Data are reported by state, county, and region.
