Oakland, NJ, November 2011 -- The national 50th percentile hourly rate for Hospice Medical Director was $95.80, according to the 2011-2012 Hospice Salary & Benefits Report, just published by Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS).

The 20th annual Hospice Salary & Benefits Report, which is published in cooperation with the National Association for Home Care & Hospice, has 704 participating hospices and hospice programs that employ more than 45,400 full-time employees. The complete 264-page Report contains 64 jobs reporting on salaries, bonuses, and hourly & per visit rates. Data are reported by state, nine regions, nationally, according to agency type and number of hospice patient days. Also included are 18 fringe benefits, planned percent increases, turnover rates, and personnel policies.
